I have been practicing surgery for 29 years and have been providing both conservative and surgical care in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery for 22 years.
I have been in private practice for 18 years.
Since November 2018, I have been able to treat and care for patients in my private practice and private clinic on both an outpatient and inpatient basis. Through inpatient care, I now offer a very comfortable overnight stay option. This also eliminates the risk of a hospital-acquired infection. Furthermore, patients are not exposed to overworked nurses.

- Full medical license granted by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1993.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Freie Universität Berlin in 1996.
- Board-certified surgeon in 1999 (already working in plastic surgery for 2 years) Training at the Clemens Hospital, an academic teaching hospital in Münster, in the Department of Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery.
- Certification in the subspecialty of plastic surgery in 2000.
- Certification as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery in 2004.
- Has worked exclusively in plastic surgery since 1997.
- Advanced training at the University Hospital Cologne/Meerheim in the Department of Plastic Surgery/Burn Medicine.
- Advanced training at the practice for plastic, aesthetic, and general surgery under Dr. Lampe and Dr. Wolters in Frankfurt, with an affiliated department.
- Advanced training in plastic and hand surgery at Johannes Hospital in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Continuing professional development through annual participation in national and international conferences and surgical courses, as well as regular professional discussions with colleagues.
- Since 2001, in private practice at his own clinic for plastic and aesthetic surgery specializing in aesthetic procedures in Dortmund and as an affiliated physician at St. Josef’s Hospital in Dortmund-Hörde.
- Since 2004, accepted by all statutory and private health insurance providers.
- Since 2018, operator of a practice accepting health insurance and private patients, as well as a private clinic with two fully equipped operating rooms and inpatient care with overnight stays.

For the past 18 years, I have been in private practice, and I now perform surgeries at my newly established practice, private clinic, and private hospital, which features two operating rooms and inpatient beds with overnight care provided by a licensed nurse. In my practice/clinic, procedures are performed under both local and general anesthesia and are supervised by our own anesthesia team.
After surgery, patients remain in my practice/recovery room or stay overnight in my private clinic. I would be happy to answer any further questions during a personal consultation.
I provide comprehensive and expert advice on every cosmetic procedure.
For certain procedures, I can show you the before-and-after results using video or image animations. (e.g., rhinoplasty, liposuction …)
My philosophy of cosmetic surgery is centered on achieving an improved and harmonious body contour. I must personally approve of the procedure; otherwise, I decline to perform the surgery.
